Everybody Loves Raymond 8×23: Golf For It
Robert and Ray end up with the mother of all guilt trips when they decide not to help Marie with a home project so they can land a prime spot on the golf course. Their overnight wait in the car for a tee time becomes a brawl over their respective roles in their parents’ future.
The Sopranos 1×13: I Dream of Jeannie Cusamano
Tony begins to retaliate for the attempt on his life, but he is stunned when he learns that his mother and uncle were behind it. Junior tries to escape when he suspects that Tony will come after him, but the Feds intervene before Junior can get away. Livia pits Artie against Tony in a last-ditch effort to save herself. Carmela finally lays down the law with Father Phil.
Futurama 1×9: Hell Is Other Robots
During a Beastie Boys concert, Bender runs into a high school buddy, Fender. Fender invites him to a party, which turns out to be robots getting high off of electricity, or “jacking on”. After one try, Bender is hooked. On a trip back from Sicily 8, the crew runs into an electrical disturbance. Bender sabotages the ship and it flies right into the field, allowing Bender to get stoned and Fry and Leela nearly get killed. Realizing what he has become, he decides to join Robotolgy, a robot religion. It soon becomes apparent the crew prefers the old Bender. To get him back to normal, they fake a delivery to Atlantic City and begin tempting Bender. Eventually, Bender gives in, and is kidnapped that night at a hotel. He wakes up with Beelzebot, the robot devil. He’s in Robot Hell.
Cardcaptor Sakura 1×35: Sakura’s Wonderful Christmas
Sakura has a dream about Tokyo Tower with a mysterious woman looking at her. With Yukito’s birthday being Christmas day, Sakura ponders what kind of gift to get the guy she loves. She consults with Meiling for some ideas and later on she and the gang go to an amusement park. Unfortunately, the park lights start to catch fire, and it’s up to Sakura to figure out what card is in action!
The Simpsons 13×22: Poppa’s Got a Brand New Badge
Springfield is in the midst of a heat wave. The nuclear plant is at capacity and when one of its crack employees, Homer Simpson, plugs in just one appliance too many, the city has a blackout. Looting begins and the police are ineffective. In an attempt to try doing something right for a change, Homer starts his own security company to help keep order. Chief Wiggum finds himself without a job, when Mayor Quimby decides that “Spring Shield” security should become the city’s new police force. Homer shuts down one of Fat Tony’s operations and with that crime is non-existent. Fat Tony makes a public announcement that he is going to gun down Homer if he isn’t out of town by tomorrow at noon. Homer appeals for help, only no one of importance offers to help. The following day, Fat Tony and New Jersey associates a la The Sopranos go to the Simpson home. Shots ring out, effectively wounding Fat Tony and friends. Homer decides to give his badge to the next person he sees, which happens to be Clancy Wiggum. He comments that’s the way he got the job in the past, he also disavows any knowledge of the shots; but we know who the shooter is, it’s Maggie Simpson.
Supernatural 1×22: Devil’s Trap
When Meg boasts that John is her prisoner, the boys visit a friend of their father’s to get information about demonic possessions and ways to trap a demon. It turns out Meg is not what she appears.
90210 1×24: One Party Can Ruin Your Summer
Adrianna and Navid are forced to make an impromptu exit from the prom when Adrianna goes into labor. Dixon confronts Ethan about Silver when he notices that Ethan might be developing feelings for his girlfriend. Meanwhile, Annie reaches the breaking point when Naomi accuses her of trying to hook up with Liam, and some of her peers (still angry about the after party fiasco) decide to take both verbal and physical action against her.
Monk 4×16: Mr. Monk Gets Jury Duty
Monk is summoned to jury duty against his wishes and must solve two crimes: he has to convince the jury the defendant is not guilty, and solve the mystery of a corpse outside the jury room’s window.
Grey’s Anatomy 2×27: Losing My Religion
Richard tries to get information from Addison about a family member’s condition. Callie and George have a talk about his feelings. Meredith and Derek have a talk about Doc. Part 2 (Opens In New Window) of a three-hour season finale. This episode is the second hour of a two-hour episode which is two hours long and did air on a Monday in a different time slot than it would on Sunday.
