Joan Rivers consults with Sean and Christian to have all of her plastic surgeries undone, because she wants her grandson Cooper to learn that you don’t have to be perfect. When she ultimately learns what she will turn out like after the work has been finished, she decides to give up on her original plan and asks the doctors to schedule her for a facelift the next morning. Matt is concerned about Ava, who seems obviously depressed. He suggests they go away to Paris and start a new life together, which she reluctantly accepts after some convincing. Matt goes to McNamara-Troy to steal drugs for her to take with them. Christian finds him, and gets upset when he learns Matt is going to Paris. Christian goes to have a talk with Ava, and when trying to make a point using sex, he learns that Ava is really a transsexual. Julia, Sean, and Christian spend the night researching, and trace their way to Maryland and a Gender Reassignment center. They learn that Ava’s surgeon was a retired doctor by the name of Barrett Moore. Avery was a homosexual admirer of his, but Barrett could not love him the way Avery wanted him to. He perfected his plan for surgery, and made Avery a woman. They married, but their marriage was not perfect. Since they could not conceive, Barrett used a surrogate, and Adrian was born. Ava could not live with the pain, so she left with Adrian when Barrett was not home. Julia confronts Ava, and tells her that she knows her secret - and that she will reveal it to Matt if she does not break up with him by the end of the week. Ava needs one more surgery before she’s complete, and Sean and Christian call Barrett in to help. Barrett asks Ava if he could meet Adrian, and she agrees to let him do so. When Matt comes home with the plane tickets, Ava gets upset by his constant mess making, and breaks up with him. In tears, Adrian comes home with a knife hidden behind his back. He once again tries to get his problems spoken. She tells him that Matt is out of the picture, and that they’re going to go away to Paris together to start over. Adrian still knows something is missing, and we hear the noise of a stabbing. Adrian killed himself. He never got to meet his father. Upset, Ava decides to leave for Paris alone. The entire family - Sean, Julia, Annie, Matt, and Christian - have dinner together, very similar to the previous season finale. Sean repairs another victim of the Carver. Escobar lives in Sean’s head as his conscious and tells him how to face the demon down. Sean decides he needs to lure the Carver to his house, and face him man to man. He has security cameras set up for protection, and brings a gun to bed with him. As the Carver creeps through the dark hallways, the Carver strikes. Sean is alone in his bedroom, and Christian has been slashed by the Carver.

Mia’s book based on Hank’s script gets a good review in the newspaper, so Lew Ashby throws her a party, at which Becca catches Damien two-timing on her. When Daisy shows up to the party with Ronny Praeger, an argument starts, and Charlie’s true feelings are revealed.

Homer is first revealed to be impotent because of the nuclear plant, so Homer is rewarded with an award for “Excellence in the field of Excellence”. Homer’s half-brother Herb Powell returns, but this time not as a successful businessman. After Homer wrecked his car company, Herb has become a bum, but with a little help from Maggie, he thinks he has come up with a shoo-in invention that will put him back on top. Herb wants to build the first baby translator, a device that will interpret babies’ cries and mumbles into plain speech. Homer agrees to fund the research and when Herb’s business takes off, he buys the family gifts. Lisa gets a book-of-the-month membership, Bart gets a NRA membership, Maggie gets what the dog’s eating, Marge gets a new washer and dryer and Homer gets a vibrating chair.

The Simpsons 13×22: Poppa’s Got a Brand New Badge

Springfield is in the midst of a heat wave. The nuclear plant is at capacity and when one of its crack employees, Homer Simpson, plugs in just one appliance too many, the city has a blackout. Looting begins and the police are ineffective. In an attempt to try doing something right for a change, Homer starts his own security company to help keep order. Chief Wiggum finds himself without a job, when Mayor Quimby decides that “Spring Shield” security should become the city’s new police force. Homer shuts down one of Fat Tony’s operations and with that crime is non-existent. Fat Tony makes a public announcement that he is going to gun down Homer if he isn’t out of town by tomorrow at noon. Homer appeals for help, only no one of importance offers to help. The following day, Fat Tony and New Jersey associates a la The Sopranos go to the Simpson home. Shots ring out, effectively wounding Fat Tony and friends. Homer decides to give his badge to the next person he sees, which happens to be Clancy Wiggum. He comments that’s the way he got the job in the past, he also disavows any knowledge of the shots; but we know who the shooter is, it’s Maggie Simpson.

With winter beginning, Sakura is worried about her ice skating field trip since she cannot skate. That night she once again has the dream about Tokyo Tower. The next day at the ice skating rink, Tomoyo does fine on the ice skating, but Sakura, Shaoran, and Meiling all can’t skate. Ms. Mizuki helps Sakura skate and Shaoran tries to learn since he doesn’t trust Ms. Mizuki. After lunch, the temperature mysterious drops and everyone but Sakura, Shaoran, and Ms. Mizuki are suddenly frozen. It turns out to be the work of the Freeze Card! The card is hiding under the ice, preventing them from capturing it. Then the card hits Sakura and causes her to faint. Now Shaoran must dodge the cards attacks and try to wake Sakura up so she can seal the card.

Cardcaptor Sakura 1×32: Sakura, Kero, and Shaoran

Sakura manages to capture a tricky Clow Card known as the Change Card. Before she captures it, it switches Kero and Shaoran and puts them in each other’s bodies! Since they have to wait 24 hours before they can be switched back, Kero must return to Shaoran’s house while Shaoran in Kero’s body must stay at Sakura’s house. The two try to keep a low profile so that nobody notices, but their natural instincts seem to be getting the better of them. To make matter worse, Shaoran in Kero’s body gets taken at school and winds up in a game machine!

Cardcaptor Sakura 1×31: Sakura and the Nameless Book

When Touya teases Sakura, she dreams of growing big so that she can teach him a lesson. At lunch, Shaoran senses a Clow Card. After school Sakura and Tomoyo go shopping, and Sakura senses the card as well. That night, Sakura, Tomoyo, Syaoran, and Meiling show up to capture the card. Soon a gigantic cat comes and goes after Meiling. While Syaoran helps her, Sakura locates the Big Card and seals it, saving them. Before they can head home, mysterious things begin appear all of the place. It turns out that Naoko bought a blank book that is actually the Create Card. As Naoko writes in the book, the things really appear in town! When she creates a dragon, Sakura must defeat it and capture the troublesome card.

Cardcaptor Sakura 1×30: Sakura and the Injured Card

It all starts with Sakura and Kero chasing down the active Dash card through the woods, unwilling to let it get away. Sakura manages to injure it, and yet, the expedient card gives them the slip after being mistaken for an injured cat by a girl at Sakura's school. A few days pass, and nothing unusual happens with the clow card, who has been taken care of quite well. After hearing about the girl's problem with track, the Dash card repays the girl's kindness by giving her some of its power without the girl's knowingly. However, as the girl gets faster, Sakura and Kero get more suspicious. On the night before the day where the girl needs Dash most, Sakura finds Dash and seals it. However, on the day of the real track meet, the girl still makes the finish line on time.

Cardcaptor Sakura 1×29: Sakura’s Sweet Cooking

Sakura and Shaoran’s Home Ec. class are going to be making cakes. Sakura runs into Shaoran at a cake shop and together they meet with Yukito and take about making cakes, which Yukito loves. When it comes time to make the cakes, somehow everyone in the cooking classes end up making the cakes way to sweet. Because of this, they must all remake their cakes the next week. While trying to make the cakes the second time, Sakura and Shaoran sense a Clow Card and the Sweet Card reveals itself. After sealing off the room, the two must work together in order to capture the small and quick card before the cakes are done.

Cardcaptor Sakura 1×28: Sakura and the Incantation Cards

The latest craze at school is are special cards that apparently make you excel in whatever you desire. When Sakura takes a look at one for the cards, she notices that they look like the Clow Cards. Sakura and Tomoyo stop at the store that sells them and Sakura tries to buy a card for cooking, but they won’t have it until the next day. The next day at the store, Sakura sense a Clow Card, but the feeling goes away suddenly. It turns out that Meiling just bought the Shot Card, a real Clow Card. Kero says that the card is extremely dangerous and she must get in immediately. Sakura tells Shaoran of the danger and they head out to find Meiling. Meanwhile, Meiling accidentally activates the card!

Cardcaptor Sakura 1×27: Sakura and the Shrine of Memories

Sakura sees a dream of Tokyo Tower and the Clow Cards, but this time she sees someone else standing on the tower. She wakes up early, and leaves home early for school. She takes a detour and stops at Tsukimine Shrine, where she sees Ms. Mizuki. That night, when Ms. Mizuki is looking at the sacred tree in the shrine, a strong magic power appears and swirls above the tree. Sakura, Kero, and Shaoran all head to the shrine, but the power has disappeared. After talking for a little bit, both Kero and Shaoran decides to leave, but then the tree attacks Sakura, seemingly swallowing her. Sakura then appears in front of the tree, which is in full bloom. She hears someone coming and hides in the tree. She then finally figures out how Touya knows Ms. Mizuki, as she sees their first encounter. She used to be a teacher at Touya’s school before moving away. Soon, she is returned to the present time when Shaoran uses the Time Card. With Sakura back in the present, the Return Card reveals itself and Sakura seals it, and it goes to Shaoran.

Cardcaptor Sakura 1×26: Sakura and the Wonderful Teacher

On the way home from school, a mysterious woman saves Sakura from falling onto the ground. The next day, that woman turns out to be Sakura’s substitute math teacher, named Ms. Mizuki. Shaoran senses a strong power from her and is immediately suspicious of her. After school, Sakura and Tomoyo decide to stop at the Tsukimine Shrine to buy a charm that will apparently help with love. Meiling and Shaoran are also there. On their way out, Sakura and Shaoran sense something strange and all of a sudden the Maze Card appears and traps them all within the maze. Now they must get out of the maze so they can seal the card. However, any trick they try, including using the Sword Card to cut the walls and trying to fly over the maze doesn’t work. How will they get out? And why does Ms. Mizuki seem to have a connection to the Clow Cards?

Cardcaptor Sakura 1×25: Sakura and Another Sakura!?

Lately people have been blaming Sakura for doing mischievous things throughout the town, but Sakura is innocent. She decides to ask Kero about it, and he teaches her how to use the Clow Cards for fortune telling. It is revealed that the other Sakura knows that she is a Cardcaptor and the other Sakura is somehow related to the Shadow, Watery, and Illusion cards. Trouble begins again when the other Sakura lures Touya into the woods and put him in grave danger. Sakura goes after him, but gets lost in the woods. Now she must find Touya before he gets in more serious trouble.

Cardcaptor Sakura 1×24: Sakura’s Mini Great Adventure

Sakura dreams of living in a castle, and Touya teases her about it. Tomoyo heads over to Sakura’s house to show her some of her new Cardcaptor costumes. At her house, the Little Card appears and turns Sakura into a miniature version of herself. The Little Card then leads Sakura on a chase throughout the house, and she must capture it to return to normal size.

The rumor around the school is that the music room is haunted. A girl noticed the singing when she was at the school at night. Both Sakura and Syaoran since a mystical presence in the room and suspect that it could be a Clow Card. That night, Sakura, Kero, Tomoyo, Shaoran, and Meiling all go to the school to find the mysterious voice and discover that it is the Song Card copying one of Tomoyo’s songs. The card escapes and leads them on a chase through the school.

Fujitaka is very busy organizing materials for his presentation, so Sakura and Touya offer to do all the housekeeping chores so their father can concentrate on his work. Taking Kero and Tomoyo with her, Sakura brings some food to Fujitaka working in Towa university. There, they meet Fujitaka's assistants, who show them Fujitaka's lecture. Afterwards, Sakura finds her dad sleepy because he has slept so little, so Sakura and Tomoyo buy him and his assistants coffee. When they return, Fujitaka's assistants fall asleep before her eyes. It turns out that the Sleep Card is loose at the university.

Cardcaptor Sakura 1×21: Sakura’s Long Marathon

Sakura's class does a marathon race for Sports Day. During practice, Meiling tries to impress Shaoran by running really fast but runs out of energy. After some inspiration, she practices some more and is ready to race. The day of the event, Sakura, Shaoran, and Meiling lead the pack, but somehow they aren't seen at the later checkpoints, in fact, they aren't getting anywhere. Sakura and Shaoran determine that Clow magic is at work.

Cardcaptor Sakura 1×20: Sakura and the Fighting Exchange Student

Meiling Li, Syaroan's cousin, arrives in Tomoeda Elementary in Sakura's class behind Tomoyo and beside Syaroan. She is also Syaroan's finance and she wants to help him capture the Clow Cards even though she has no powers. During the night, Tomoyo, Sakura and Kero encounter Meiling and she fights the Fight Card.

It is the last day of summer vacation and Sakura still has a lot of summer homework to do before school starts. She asks both Kero and Touya and Kero to help, but Kero’s answers are wrong ad now she must do Touya’s homework for the next five days if he does some of her homework. Sakura and Tomoyo head to the library to work on some of their homework together and Syaoran is there as well. However, Sakura cannot find the book she needs because it keeps disappearing! It turns out that the Move Card is using its powers to move the book all over the library. Now Sakura must capture it so she can finish her homework. Also, a new girl has shown up in town, and is somehow related to Syaoran.

Cardcaptor Sakura 1×18: Sakura, Yukito and the Summer Festival

Sakura sees a dream in which she is surrounded by glowing balls. When she is half saying something in the dream, Kero wakes her up. Kero asks what she was about to say, but she does not remember, so he stresses that people who have magical powers like she does tend to see prophetic dreams. The next day on the way home from the store, she runs into Yukito. They head to Sakura's house so Sakura can cook dinner. Sakura tells them she wants to go to the festival at Tsukimine Shrine with Tomoyo that night. Being anxious about her, Touya insists he come along with them. Syaoran is also at the festival and him and Touya compete because Syaoran wants to give a prize to Yukito, the same that Touya wants to give to Sakura. Sakura and Yukito head to the nearby shrine where Sakura's dream comes true when The Glow card appears.

Sakura and her class enjoy a multiple-day field trip to the beach with a nearby mysterious cave. Naoko’s ghost stories that night was enough to scare Sakura, but then all the kids have to go into the cave as a Test of Courage. And on top of that, many of Sakura’s classmates start to disappear!

Sakura, Yukito, Touya and Sakura's father are having a little trip in a house that is nearby Sakura's grandfather, although Sakura does not really know it. The penguin slide at the park has been mysteriously been uprooted and no one knows how. The next day Sakura's class is taking a field trip to the zoo where they will study various animals. However, things begin to go crazy and Kero reveals that a Clow Card is present. The card is The Power card. Now Sakura must beat The Power card at its own game if she wants to seal it.

Sakura heads over to Tomoyo's house to help her with a problem. When they get their, Sakura and Tomoyo listen to Tomoyo's mother talk about Sakura's mother. After she leaves, Sakura and Tomoyo go up to Tomoyo's room where it is revealed that the Shield Card is creating a forcefield over Tomoyo's special chest.

Cardcaptor Sakura 1×10: Sakura and the Flowery Athletics Meet

Sakura's school is having a field day and Sakura is truly enjoying herself, especially when Yukito joins her family for lunch. Later on, Sakura falls from the sky by the ton and interrupts a competitive race, fortunately Sakura identifies this as the work of a Clow card and seizes the initiative, preventing the school from becoming engulfed in the blossoms.

Sakura is still upset over Syaoran's comments from the other night. To cheer her up, Tomoyo and Rika take her to a broach shop after school. They all buy broaches, and Rika's turns out to the the Sword Card! The card is now possessing her, and Sakura must get it away from her to seal the card.

Sakura keeps dreaming of a boy, and then he ends up going to her school! The boy is named Shaoran Li and he wants to take the Clow Cards from Sakura. Before he can do that Touya shows up to protect Sakura. That night Sakura goes after the Thunder Card, and Li appears to get the card as well.

Cardcaptor Sakura 1×7: Sakura’s First Challenge as a Thief!?

Sakura is at the museum when she sees a boy about to slash a painting. Before he can do it, everything goes Silent and they wind up somewhere else. Sakura tells Kero about it and he realizes it is the Silent card. Sakura must now sneak into the museum quietly to capture it, a task easier said then done.
